Purusharthas ; Four Fundamental Values Of Life; Dharma, Artha, Kaama & Moksha
Can say as ; Truth ; Goodness ; Beauty.
Dharma (the path of wisdom) (righteousness)(as per the laws of society, country, morality.) Dharma is the stability of society, the maintenance of social order, and the general welfare of mankind. And whatever conduces to the fulfillment of this purpose is called 'DHARMA'.
Artha (the path of right action "purpose, cause, motive, meaning, notion".) (money, wealth, property & all means of pleasure, conveyance etc.) It refers to the idea of material prosperity. It is considered to be a noble goal as long as it follows the dictates of Vedic morality.
The concept includes achieving widespread fame, garnering wealth and having an elevated social standing. ARTHA is the acquisition of wealth(without being greedy). Artha is the foundation upon which the whole structure of life has been built and all the other Purusharthas can be achieved only by the fulfillment of this primary purpose in life.
Kaama (path of love and devotion) (sensuality, pleasure of sex, company of opposite sex.) Kaama (physical or emotional pleasure) and Kaama means desires. Desires of varying degrees. Man recognises here that Artha and Kaama satisfy the psychological tendencies of man and they form essentially the two fundamental aspirations of every individual.
Moksha (path of meditation) (Dettachment from artha & kamma at will, dutyful life without expectation. It leads to liberation of soul from bondage.) Moksha results from the extinction of false knowledge, lust and hate, which extinguish all karmas, which again results in the cessation of all birth, which again results in the annulment of sorrow.
By adopting above said WAY OF LIFE one is capable of achieving one’s goal and true peace of mind.
